Mr. Chao has been the school psychologist at CTD since the 2024-25 school year. He is passionate about helping people feel welcome, safe, heard, and understood while providing people the tools they need to be well and healthy. Previously, he managed a non-profit for 10 years that provided mentorship and life-guidance for adolescent students in the state of Connecticut and in the city of Philadelphia, PA. At one point, Mr. Chao worked for the Cincinnati Circus Company, so you may see him tall on his stilts, juggling objects, and helping bring joy to others. He loves spending time and going on adventures with his wife and two young boys. He’s a diehard Philly Eagles fan, but is willing to root on the Broncos. Go birds!
