Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Please see important beginning of year information below:
Families of all new and returning students must complete online registration prior to their student(s) starting school. To complete online registration, please follow the steps outlined here.
If you need support with technology or online registration, please plan to attend our registration open house during one of the following dates and times:
Tuesday, August 6 from 12:00pm-3:00pm
Thursday, August 8 from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Please join us Thursday, August 15 from 3:30pm-5:00pm for Back to School Night. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet the teacher, drop off school supplies, and enjoy a frozen treat. We hope to see you there!
3:30-4:15: Visit classrooms and drop off school supplies
4:15-5:00: Enjoy a frozen treat on the blacktop and playground
The first day of school for kinder-5th grade students is Monday, August 19.
3-5th grade students will enter through the north door of the building starting at 7:30am. K-2 grade students will enter through the south door of the building starting at 7:30am. Breakfast is served from 7:30am-7:45am. Instruction begins at 7:45am. Students arriving after 7:45am will need to check in at the main office for a tardy pass.
K-5 students will dismiss from the same doors at 2:30pm. Students attending Extended Day or Boys & Girls Club will have a designated meeting area.
The first day of school for ECE 3 and 4 year olds is Tuesday. August 20.
ECE students will enter through the south door of the building starting at 7:30am. Per state licensing, all ECE students are required to be signed in and out daily in the classroom. Breakfast will be provided in the classroom from 7:30-7:45am. DPS ECE classrooms will only release children to an individual over the age of eighteen (18) for whom written authorization has been given by the parent(s)/guardian (s) and is maintained in the child’s record.
The ECE student dismissal window is from 2:15-2:30pm. Parents/guardians can enter through the main doors in order to sign out their student from the classroom.
