CTD Families, we have a couple of events coming up for our school. This Friday is our 3rd annual D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read) Day! This is a day for all students to participate in activities to celebrate the joy of reading. It will also be pajama day so students are encouraged to wear their most comfortable pajamas! Next week on March 11th it will be Spring Picture Day at CTD. This day will be for individual and class picture day. Information will be sent home with students. If you have any questions, please contact the main office.

CTD Sports

CTD has teamed up with Denver Public Schools department of Extended Learning and Community Schools (ELCS) to offer sports for current 4th and 5th grade students. We are very happy to provide our upper elementary students the chance to play sports. The link below will provide more information on ELCS and the other programs and activities they offer.

Basketball Information:

Coach: Mike DiFerdinando

Practices: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the CTD gym

Games: All games are at Trevista at Horace Mann at 4:30 p.m. until about 6:00 p.m. Dates of games are 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, and 4/8. The only change is that the game on 3/11 starts at 5:45 p.m. and not 4:30 p.m.

Communication: Parents of students are to use their Thrillshare account for communication and news/updates.

Transition: Basketball players are to go to the gym after school on Tuesday when their teacher releases their class at the end of the day. On Thursday and game days, students come back for practice and the game.
