Students have a daily “specials” class period. They follow a rotation through the different specials classes. We offer Music, Dance and Physical Education.
Students also have a weekly 45-minute Advisory class. Advisory is a school-based enrichment period that is co-taught by two staff members. Each advisory class has an average of 10 to 12 students from different grade levels (either a K-2 or 3-5 grade cluster). We have offered advisory classes in: dance, science, crafts, photography, cooking, cake decorating, board games, drama/theater, soccer, lacrosse, yoga, hula hoop, piñata-making, guitar/ukulele, world tour, comic book/pop culture, jewelry making, crocheting/knitting, gardening, camp games, and sewing.
