Hi CTD families-
I am excited to welcome you back to a new school year! I truly hope you enjoyed the summer. Having time to reconnect with your children and loved ones is important. I also hope you made time each day to be fully present for the small moments that make this life magical. I had a lovely summer spending time with my family and preparing for being the new Principal for Center for Talent Development. I am honored and excited for all the possibilities this school year brings.
I want to support all children to have a joyful, equitable and impactful school experience that will influence the adults they will become to make a difference in the future of our world. That each child sees their individual identities and talents as assets and how that confidence will assist them in succeeding and becoming socially conscious, contributing individuals.
As a community, we recognize that we have a responsibility to ourselves and others to learn from each other and remain open to new ideas and learning opportunities for growth. This allows for us to continue to move forward and not let go of powerful lessons we have learned in service of our children and our communities. Let’s be intentional in our words and actions to be united, to grow together, to create a culture of dignity that ensures all feel they belong, and provide a transformative, nurturing school experience for our children!
